Properly fulfilling fiduciary duties in regards to investment options offered to plan participants can be burdensome and timely. Serving as a 3(21) or 3(38) Investment Fiduciary, Axio’s partnership approach provides the services advisors and plan sponsors desire to mitigate the fiduciary risks associated with investment selection, monitoring, and replacement.
As a 3(21) Co-Fiduciary, we provide an investment policy statement template, guidance with respect to asset classes, and a list of approved investment alternatives. The Plan Sponsor retains the final decision-making authority.
As a 3(38) Fiduciary, we take full discretionary authority to make investment decisions within the plan reliving the plan sponsor and other plan fiduciaries from responsibilities associated with the investment decisions.
